amazing boulder (formation?)! Great capture! Outside the window it's rain, rain, rain here in portland ..your photos sure take us back to better days of good weather Marc :)
You're looking at the bottom half of this boulder. There are actually a couple routes on this. I've never done them.
I had my wife act like she's keeping the boulder from rolling over.
We are going to get a ton of rain starting on Monday. They're talking about upwards of 15-20 inches in the mountains. If the roads are still open, I really like to take some waterfall photos.
Arizona is gearing up for big weather, also!
When it hits, the roads become a trecherous
"skating rink," so I'll probably end up
seeking refuge in a coffee shop.
Have fun out there, Marc !!!
Very strong woman :-)
Thanks, Romek. I got lucky with my wife. She is pretty strong.
I've never seen anything like it. Routes, I gotta see it to believe it.
Why, even with my Oran Utan arm span, I ain't got a chance!!
Hi Ray, well, not to worry, you don't boulder on this one. There are actually a couple of routes on this boulder, but they are lead routes, not boulder problems. So, you still have a chance.
Definitely a cool shot... After seeing that wanting to plan a trip for a look myself. Impressive...
Don Juan Boulder is impressive, but you have much better things to look at, such as South Astro Dome. This is a landmark on your way to the Astro Domes. Now, those are impressive.
