#1 04-01-24 W/Lana. Bagged Frary Peak while Old Man Weather changed his mind about a dozen times. Stopped at the signed trail spur to Dooley Knob to eat before hiking to the knob. It was extremely windy as we climbed the final few steps to the small top. A nice place to visit and worth the extra few minutes from the Frary Peak trail. This marks my 7th peak in a list which I hope to extend to 80 before my next birthday.

Great day out with the whole family. Short little hike, great view of the Great Salt Lake. Brother in law and sister were along for fun.

After Stringham and Frary
Couldn't resist bagging this little guy even though the cold almost dissuaded me. Super easy spur trail leads to the top. Dooly looks a lot more epic from the trail going up to Frary than it does when you are on it.
Was planning on doing Frary but was low on energy and time so I went up Dooly instead. The view was very nice.

A Quickie
It was a last-minute decision to take a quick trip up the slopes. The views were great. Bison across sitting on the slope were cool to see.

Ascent Trip Report
After an unsuccessful attempt to summit neighboring Frary Peak, Lark and I hit Dooly Knob on the way back. This hike was a breeze, the view was fantastic, and it was the first summit I've achieved since I decided to start peakbagging (as well as the second highest thing I've hiked up). Baby steps!
Sitting, then standing on top, was an unforgettable experience, particularly as I got to do it with my kiddo.

Dooly Knob
10/30/2013 We first stopped and walked up to Buffalo Point. After that we hiked up Dooly Knob, Stringham Peak, and Frary Peak. Easy little detour on the way to Frary.

Couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit the island for free due to the federal shutdown. Hiked to the top of Frary Peak and then over to Red Rocks and Bamberger Hill. On the way back, went to Stringham Peak and Dooly Knob.
