Douglas Fir in Utah

I was surprised to find out that the big tree at the bottom of Wall Street was a Douglas First (according to the ranger at the visitor center). A huge tree that reached for the open air above, it was a beauty. Unfortunately, this is the only pic I have since my batteries died right after this shot but at least this gives a feel for how majestic it is. The colors are as the camera captured them.
