Was the road open?

It must have been an interesting trip. Any ice climbing in there?

The road was only open up to the Plug Hat parking lot but, of course, that's all you need. That would have been great if there was some ice climbing - what a great way to see a canyon! In this case the ice was thin, brittle and not formed in the places it would need to be. I loved doing the canyon in the winter, though, and I'll probably try a couple more of them before spring really sets in.
