Hey Misha, there is actually a pretty good and well defined use trail to access Dozier. If you park at the turnout with the 45 mph sign in it, walk straight back into the woods until you hit the main trail, it's maybe 100-200 feet, and follow the main trail east-northeast for about 200-250 yards. You will see a small granite buttress, maybe 15 feet tall, on the right, and the use trail takes off from there, on the right side of the small buttress. There is a trail marker cairn there as well. The use trail is pretty nice, it avoids the swamps and thick trees, and you end up just to the left of Holdless Horror. The trail is ducked and otherwise well defined.
Yep, been up there twice this season and from the granite slabs it's practically a sidewalk, with ducks and a well-defined trail. I hear it's good to keep folks from trampling the fragile meadows in early season.
