Dressed for success

Thermal underwear around my head against the wind, sandals and cotton pants. Perfect for a storm ascent of Erciyes.

More questions, please...

Are you a native of Sweden? I was really curious about your name ... Corax? That's latin, right? Please don't KEEP me guessing.(Like Lolli does to me.)
(Corvus corax), or Common Raven. My brother!!!
The Raven is a common resident of Arizona. I have also seen it in Nome, Alaska. It FLYS in isolated places, and upon DESOLATION it THRIVES!!! !!! !!!
Is that an accurate description ??? ???

Re: More questions, please...

I'm born in Sweden, but I got Corax as a nick name many years back and as I didn't like my old surname I decided to change.
Lolli the secrative egh?
You are right, it's from Corvus Corax. Sometimes when you're in really desolate places there is one creature you can almost be sure to see - the raven!
It thrives in desolation and so do I.
The ones here in Tibet are huge by the way. Great company out there, there you hardly see any other higher life form.

Tack sa mycket ...

Thank you for answering my question. What about Iceland ... the land of fire & ice? Have you ever been there? Lots of ice-encrusted territory, miles of desolation and sudden changes in weather ... sounds like your kind of a PLACE to be. TAKE CARE !!! !!!

Re: Tack sa mycket ...

Iceland is a place I really want to go to, but I haven't made it there yet. Many people I know say it's a fantastic place.
