impressive!That's hilarious! While CBRs aren't the torture racks that Ducatis or Gixxers are, that is some major mileage to rack up on a sport bike (let alone with luggage!)... Sounds like a great trip!
I can appreciate long rides on sport bikes. I did an Oakland to Tijuana up to Oregon along the 1 & back to Oakland tour on my Gixxer one weekend... Incredibly uncomfortable, amazing I didn't get a ticket, & a great weekend!

Re: impressive!It wasn't too uncomfortable for me. Maybe in part to being a girl and not having anything that is going to hurt from all the pressure of leaning frontways in the crotch area. :) And yeah.....got 2 tickets. One in Salem and the other in Merced Cty. SUCKS. They total about $1,000.

Re: impressive!That really sucks about the tickets (wow that's a lot of $$)... I try really hard to not get them. Fortunately for me while I had the Honda, the CBR is way faster than the police cruisers... :)
Yes, I think that crotch-rockets are likely even more uncomfortable for guys (the whole frontal area thing, + they're also made for smaller riders, in general (i.e. less than 6')).
