Duranno

Duranno

Every time I go to Val Cimoliana I stop for a while to enjoy this wonderful view. I can't believe this is considered a "minor" dolomitic mountain...

Fantastico!

Thanks Fabrizio for this amazingly beautiful shot. Duranno is one of my favourites in the Alps. Difficult and strenuous, but a very rewarding ascent.
Ciao, Andrej

Re: Fantastico!

Thank you! I agree with you, this is almost the perfect mountain. This year I tried to climb it twice but I had to give up for bad weather, I'll try again next year.
Ciao!

Congratulations for POD

This Duranno picture deserves to be photo of the day. I was also very impressed with your picture of Cima dei Preti, perhaps even more.

Good pic!

I was amazed how much this looks like it's in the Rocky Mountains - I thought it was until I read the caption. Nice photograph.
