I have...run into a large bird nest only twice in my life, and it was a thrill both times. Thankfully, mine were not in use as either. I would not have liked to scare the poor birds.

Re: I have...Felt pretty good the other day...climbing with a well known local climber who I had not climbed with much before. We were en route and discussing different routes...I indicated one of my favorites on Yam was Missionaries Crack...and he said he had never climbed it because of the eagles nest...and then he remembered, the one who asked everyone to avoid the route was me when I posted the beta....(you have to step right through it via some off width climbing)....small rewards make it worth it.
