The sun is about to come around. Looks like a long fun climb on good rock minus the heat.

Actually here time was working in our favor - sun was on its way OUT. But holy sh..!!! It was HOT on some other routes!!

Yeah, but even compared to Red Rocks that we've hit in June and July. Latter half of last week the east faces were frying by 9am!

May 30th? That's the day after we came down from the Ribbon Falls area -- where we practically froze to death on Saturday the 27th. (Slept in a portaledge with a fly, hanging from a tree to avoid getting drenched with hail and snow!!) In fact, maybe we waved at you from across the ditch!

we practically froze to death on Saturday the 27th

Heard about this from people in the Valley. Fortunately we were still on I5 on the 27th and missed out on the Oregon-type fun ;)
