LOOSE!
This couloir is the worse crap I've climbed so far this year! Dangerously loose the entire way until we made an early escape along the south wall on Class 4 terrain. Descended the East Chute, also loose shit, then continued to Candlelight.

Fun route
Great snow conditions, but very windy day. The east couloir took longer than what we expected looking at it from the base. Once we toped out we got greeted by awesome views of Mt Whitney. Then it is a 5-minute class 2-3 scramble to the summit proper.
We carried on to Mt Mallory which took about 2 hours (sticking to the ridge).
