Hi Janne, do you need to have an advanced reservation for the Barrel Huts? I bought my flight to Moscow for July...and am planning to try to summit solo...
As far as I know you don´t need a reservation and if so; I have no idea how to book. When I arrived there the caretaker asked me if I wanted to stay in the Barrels and it seemed like it wasn´t a problem to just show up and stay there. The catch may be if they´re full, but I doubt they all be. Only one or two were used for sleeping when I was there. You can also store gear you don´t want to use on the climb there. I did and I wasn´t charged for it.
