That is a fun climb

We had a bit of trouble with a big build up of static electricity at the top we were sitting around enjoying the secnery and talking to another climbing party when I stood up and went to stretch and had some static electricity come snapping off of my fingers. We looked around and every one on the top had there hair standing up. Needless to say we hurried up and got down with no more mishaps. I have heard of people being shocked from a build up of electricity coming from the ground up on Wolfs Head before. I do not like lightning in the mountains I have been hit once and almost another time both in mountain areas of Wyoming. Allthough that still rates high on my list of fun climbs. The second time I soloed the east ridge with no mishaps and saw no one on that mountain the whole day.

terrific route for sure. those rockies t-storms is some scary sh.t too. Though cursed with a short summer here in the NW, when the weather is good, it's REALLY good. not likely to get zapped. thanks for visiting Jerry.
