My first ever climb, with Sierra Mountaineering Club, up the East Ridge of Ralston Peak with a descent down the Southwest

Winter Traverse
Climbed with a team of five from Echo Lakes. Very scenic and well worth the effort. A straight forward route that gets more interesting as you near Cup Lake and the ridge begins to narrow. Our descent route was off the NE ridge of Ralston and across the lakes.

Finally
after failing the last attempt due to lack of water, made it to the summit with squishy. note to self: STAY on the ridge to avoid the bush-slog-whacking!!! phenomenal views of the Crystal Range on the way down towards Ralston Trail.
