It'd be accessible for sure, but it depends on the year whether you'd need snowshoes or not. In a dry year, you'd be good to go; a wet year, not so much.
My advice would be to bring snowshoes along in your car and evaluate conditions at the TH. Wallowing through those meadows in sugary, late-spring snow could suck!

OK!Thanks Ryan. I found out that my dad has some nice snowshoes that I can borrow so I think I will go ahead and give this route a shot!
