Fun route, led first pitch. Tricky routefinding on second pitch.
The route finding was not that hard. If you have been at the bushy ledge before then you ca easily guess the way. The traverse is run out but easy.
First trad lead on the third pitch of this route. Great starter for a newb like myself.
5.7(S) for sure. Still NOT FUNNY SKI!! hahaha
Threw a garter snake down at my friend while he was belaying me. I wish I could have seen his eyes! We re-rated the route as being a 5.6s
An excellent climb on enjoyable rock. Tried the optional 5.9 move up top but failed. Not there yet.
my partner saw something she liked which happened to be this route, so we jumped on it with her on the sharp end. so we didn't know where the route was supposed to go or how hard it was... after the first two(?) pitches we traversed diagonally up and left to find a route that didn't look as intimidating, following dikes and a flake system, and ended up on pitch 3 of Bear's Reach to finish off the day after sunset. an interesting exercise in routefinding!
Enjoyable and a bit adventurous climb. I led the entire route with Etsuko and Jen following. Great routefinding challenges on the 2nd pitch!
My first multi pitch climb. Don on lead. Exposure on the first pitch traverse was quite fun.
First trad-follow climb - freaked out some when I almost fell at an inoppurtune time, but made it through.
Finally got on this climb on a crowded day. Not as nice as east crack or bears reach, but still a fun climb despite it's wandering nature.
