"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Nice climb from SpiderstulenMy wife and I hiked to the summit from Spiderstulen in less than 4 hours. About half the hike was on snow, and it was a whiteout much of the day. We crossed paths with a herd of reindeer on the way up and down. We had the summit to ourselves for over an hour, then over a hundred people arrived from Juvvashytta and Spiderstulen. I had wanted to make this trip for 30 years since I first visited Norway. Now I want to return and climb more mountains in Jotunheimen. It is a beautiful area.
