This is the eastern end of Echo Rock, a seldom-visited cliff on the Virginia side of Mather Gorge. There is no trail access to the crag, but it is not too hard to get to. More information on Echo Rock This view is from the Potomac River, from my kayak. Great Falls, MD-VA-- August 2010
