Eke Crater

Eke Crater (pronounced "eck-eh"). The guides told us there is a trail to this crater but no one they knew had been there in a long, long time, so the trail is probably gone now. It isn't a boardwalk. If only.

There is a trail

The trail goes about 1/2 way and starts out as an old road. Then a very over grown old road and finally a good trail that gets increasingly overgrown the higher you go. Eventually the brush closes in but the trail is still there under the brush but it is very difficult to push through. I've tried three times and have yet to make it.
