Elbrus north route

Mt Elbrus north route from high camp, June 2011. The route follows the tracks to the left of the image, then angles back towards the rocks below the east summit. After climbing above the rocks below the east summit, the route then traverses to the saddle to then climb the higher west summit. This high traverse is necessary to avoid the ice fall seen below the saddle.
