A classic gem
Named after one of the founding members of the Alpine Club of Canada, the Elizabeth Parker Hut is a fine tribute to a dedicated lady. Located within an easy 10 minute walk from the shoreline of Lake O'Hara, the hut is easily accessed in the summer via the Parks Canada bus. Winter time leads to a 12 km ski in suitable for cross country ski travellers. A comfortable and cozy place to hang out afetr a day of playing in the highly unrated area around Lake O'Hara.

Staying at the hut
Due to the high demand for its space, from the third weekend in June to the first weekend in October, a lottery system is used to get a spot. There are last minute opportunities though and the best chance other than winning a lottery spot is through the ACC's weekly e-news. Check out the ACC website for further details.
