Elk running up talus field

Early July 2012 we saw these elk from far away as we were returning from Truro Peak to our base camp near Petroleum Lake. We did not want to disturb them but they spotted us and decided to run up this nasty talus field. From far away, we could hear the rock avalanche they created. We were worried about them but they seemingly made it to the top without any injuries.
