After a rainy night at the lake we decided to leave a day early, but not before dropping packs at the junction and summiting in some pretty bad wind and rain. No views to be had.

Not The Standard Trail
Scrambled east from Engle Lake up the East side of Engle Peak. Alot more difficult than main trail but much more rewarding and fun.

Standard Trail
Engle was probably the first Cabinet summit for me and it stirred my appetite for additional adventures in the Cabinets. The huckleberries were tasty as well.
