Me too. I've got to do el Taillon again cos the first time I didn't see a thing from the summit.
I want to do the route from Bujaruelo to Sarradets (- cos I'm NEVER going to do the 5+ gruelling hours by car from Spain to Gavernie and then up to Sarradets all on the same bank holiday car-packed-roads day ... ever again no way!)
Personally, I think the route from Goriz is better - cos it's less frequented. Just longer.
Let me know when you plan to do it and maybe we can meet up there! :)
Well, my idea was to make it from the bottom of the Cirque de Gavarnie, via the famous passage called "echelle des Sarradets" which I must try. Been already by car on Col des Tentes..
The Spanish side is also very attractive, but the problem is often the same, too remote...
