Re: Where is this peak?"Esha Peak": 12,283', John Muir Wilderness, Eastern Sierra, McGee Creek Road. 3 miles southwest off 395 to "corral" (on topo)7,800'. Esha Pk. is south up at the head of Esha Canyon.
Note: McGee Creek must be crossed. There's a ski route from the peak that's in John Moyniers ski book of the eastern Sierra. Can't remember the name of the book. 37 31.300' N, 118 48.071' W
