European Swamp Thistle

European Swamp Thistle ( Cirsinum palustre) is a herbaceous biennale species of the genus Cirsinum from the Asteraceae Family. It is a tall thistle that reaches up to 2 meters in height. It is common in all of Polish mountains. In the Bieszczady Mountains it can be found especially on mountain slopes. The purple flowers are produced from June to September.
