Eventually, you leave the...
Eventually, you leave the 'Dike and go onto the open rock slabs of the rock slide. While the climbing is a tiny bit easier, the exposure here is much greater. It is steep enough that you can still see a part of Avalanche Lake, even though you are way up on the mountain.
