Did you wield Excalibur on Excelsior?



Note that this peak is generally known as Excelsior Peak (USGS calls it that). This is maybe to distinguish it from the Excelsior Mountain near the Monte Cristo Group.

Thanks for the vote. I'll check out the name and perhaps change this one then. In my book it is "Mountain" but who am I to argue with the USGS??

Their website doesn't always link well, but....Excelsior Peak. (We'll see if this works.) They give the wrong elevation but that's nothing new. Also, if you type in Excelsior Peak in the Topozone query window you get 5,699 ft with the cross-hair on your coordinates.
