Expedition OutreachExpedition Outreach (E.O.) started out many years ago by myself, Michael Coyne, my wife and our best friend. E/O is an educational world peace charity.
We are a team are environmentally conscious, explorers & educators who seek to face our fears through every type of extreme sport imaginable, played in nature all over the world on self-guided expeditions.
We have come to see how the more fear we face, the more space we clear in our minds to store the magic that life is meant to offer us! Our lives can become far more simpler and enjoyable!
Imagine yourself as never feeling stress again, and unmoved by the stress of others; with little to no fear of death and you get a feeling of your own human birthright: What we all can become with a little education, training, the right safety equipment & passion.
The underlying current is that we all truly feel that if we spent more time accepting and exploring 'what our world truly is,' and all its various cultures and ways of interacting with nature, from 100 below zero degree weather, on mountains, surfing big waves, white water rivers, crossing dense jungles and barren deserts; then this would be enough of a formidable opponent to pit ourselves against, making the age old human urge to war seem absurd: This coming from a former U.S. Marine.
We also educate and support the combat against the common denominators that seek to battle the human race like disease, spinal chord injuries, AIDS, Cancer, ignorance, famine, greed and crime to name a few.
We feel that... Inner Peace; (often found on a good hike, paddle or SCUBA dive,) + Domestic Peace; (thinking globally, but acting as locally as your next door neighbor,) can and will lead to a sustainable World Peace
