This is the type of a photo one wants to keep looking and looking. Very soothing. Just wish I could hear the sounds of the falls and river as well. Well Done!

Thanks Anya for the kind words. It was a beautiful area to hike around. We saw 7 or 8 similar waterfalls in a 30-40 mile stretch. The sound was indeed soothing.

You should go in May or June. They say that these falls are twice as nice. There are about 7 or 8 different large falls along this river.

Very Nice!

I'v followed the Umpqua along highway 138 from out to the ocean. Where would the trailhead be for this waterfall?

This was east of the I-5, east of Roseburg on 138, on the north fork. There is a series of about 7 or 8 nice falls along this stretch between Glide and Diamond Lake on the way to Crater Lake. Oregon has many falls, as you probably know. I would like to to do the west side and the Portland area as well.
