Fall Trip to Pamilia Lake

We made the quick trip into Pamila Lake later in the year then i ever had. We were hoping to get to use the snowshoes but ended up leaving them in the jeep at the trailhead as it was ovbious that we would not need them. My wife and I hiked the two miles into the lake along with our 1 year old Lab. After getting camp set up we hiked around the south end of the lake and followed the trail up about another mile before heading west up a rock slide chute hoping to get some views of Jefferson. After going about 700ft up the chute we got the views, took some pictures, and headed back down. There were a few patches of snow along this trail once you climbed up off the lake, but the trail was still visible.
We were the only ones on the lake that night so it was nice and peacefull. Hiked out about noon the next day
