I just got back from my first ice climbing trip into the Canadian Rockies, and this TR is inspiring. Sea of vapors is on my list, but its going to be a few years before I'm up to the task. Great job, way to push through the mind games. Ice climbing really is strange that way.
While I can lead just WI3, what your guys are soloing (:, it was a pleasure to read all the story you went true this really difficult two climbs.
Congratulations and thank for sharing.
Great report - brought back memories of doing Polar Circus a few years back. I highly recommend "Hydrophobia" and "The Sorcerer" in the Ghost as another worthy goal; two of the best climbs in the Rockies.
I have looked at those climbs as well but the Ghost has been funky this year with approach issues. Might just have to hold off until next year. They look brilliant especially in your photos!

Re: CongratulationsI'm glad I got to write it. It's always a joy writing trip reports on experiences you get from nothing else except climbing. Thanks for your comment
