Final East Ridge of Cotleton

Final East Ridge of Cotleton

The final east ridge of Cotleton with the aforementioned step shown with the miniature rock tower evident. Basically, you climb up to directly below the tower then traverse right under cliffs where a fall down the heather gully would have serious consequence. Class 3 but with lame holds. Once above that difficulty the easiest route is to swing left onto the south slope to weave through evergreens to the top, which features a bit of exposure but with a good path along the rocks.
