First light touches The Chopping Block

A chilly beginning to a fine Summer day. The Chopping Block (called Pinnacle Peak on the maps) involves a very enjoyable, exposed Class-4 or low-5 traverse across the entire N face, just below the shadow line here. Walk across the top, then rappel from the near corner to the ridge crest below. Or climb the rap route - maybe 5.7. Mount Triumph in the distance.
