first rays of the new day's sun

An obvious perk of living/working at Many Glacier Hotel is mornings like this. I had the pleasure of snapping this photo while at work. A hotel guest saw me taking photos in uniform and said something to the effect of, "If the guy who works here is taking photos, it must be a special sunrise!" Grinnell Point is at center, rising spectacularly across Swiftcurrent Lake and basked in the rays of a new day's sun. September 8, 2013
