...story! Very cool area, too. I highly recommend the hike to Bacchus Peak, it has an excellent view of about 270*, and has one of the best HUGE sand slopes for ultra-fast descents.

I know you will. I've not been in the San Gabriels a lot lately. I've been going to the Mojave and Southern Sierra more often now. I just can't stay in the city :)
