Fixed rope on the Stüdlgrat

One of several fixed ropes on this fine ridge, making it easier if you want to. There are plenty of bolts as well, and if you look closely, you can see one in the picture. We were roped up, but apart from that, until half way or so, I didn't use any aid, but higher up, as the weather took a turn for the worse, I used everything I could to get to the summit as fast as possible. Pulled myself up on ropes, stood on the bolts, everything. Maybe next time I'll have enough time to climb it without aid. 1 September 2011.
