Re: do yo knowWell many people think this white scarf is a corsican local item, but the reality is different, historically the symbol was a black head with the same scarf over the eyes, the head being a decapitated Moorish invader !
by the way, that would be cool to attach this great report to the Corsica area page ;)

Re: do yo knowNot exavtly... the symbol was misunderstood for decades and slowly transformed into this head of man with open eyes and scarf around the forehead
