Excuse me ...I was trying to get some more images
together.The pine looks like a
Ponderosa. Sp-member Anya has a
GREAT Ponderosa pine album.
My brother was at Flaming Gorge
earlier this year. They had a
massive wildfire over there, and
guess they saw the smoke. GREAT
picture from that part of UTAH!

Re: Excuse me ...yes, it is a Ponderosa. While I was there I took several photos of the gorgeous,huge, old Ponderosas. They are one of my favorite trees, aspen the other. I didn't see any signs of fire in the area where I was. I had been there when I was a kid, but hadn't seen it in long while. I really enjoyed my short time there.
