fi was good, but fo is better! a fun 3-pitch jaunt to the summit of a remote flatiron. the chimney pitch is one of the more memorable, awkward positions you'll ever be in while climbing the flatirons. once you figure out the sequence, let the fun begin! a hidden gem....

Unique Route
Another freezing day in the Flatirons. You'd think that I would learn my lesson and stop climbing when it's so cold outside! P1 was long and I followed the dihedrals and although a bit harder than Roach's 5.4, it offered great pro. P2 was short 5.2 up to a block belay low on the shoulder. P3 is the money-maker! Crossing the runout/easy ridge and the gash materializes before you. It looks absurd at first but is very secure by chimneying. A cool route even to the end connection with Fumbledeedum. I don't think it sees much traffic.
