Foggy Morning in the Chisos
The day began at 11F, which is pretty cold for south Texas. Fog hung over the Chisos Mountains and lifted as the morning progressed.
This view near the entrance to Chisos Basin shows how vegetation collects on the higher slopes despite being in the middle of a very dry desert.
