Footbridge over La Borgne d'Arolla, just south of La Gouille 2717
A footpath from the road just south of La Gouille leads across the Borgne d'Arolla river to the icefalls on the other side. The same footpath is also used by snow shoe hikers, which explains why it's so well trodden.
