Updates to the route (2005):
A large fire in 2003 known as the Coon Creek fire burned much of the upper mountain. As a result vehicular traffic past Workman Creek Falls is closed. There has been some significant erosion along the road just below the falls, enough to warrant the closure. I am not sure if this is permanent. You'll have to park along the road at a gate near the "Falls" campground. From here, simply walk the road to the top, about 3 miles and 1,500 feet of gain. I explored part of Trail 151 but it grew very indistinct amid downfall and burned forest-scape, so I stuck to the road instead. It's still a nice hike, and the Workman Creek Falls are very impressive!
Nothing out of the ordinary.
