I plan to climb Aconcagua with my partner sin guía this December. The plan is to fly into Santiago, Chile and the next day take a bus to Mendoza. I am thinking of bringing the 14-day food supplies from the United States (Mountain House or Alpine Aire freeze dried food). Will the customs in Chile or Argentina let in freeze dried food by Mountain House or Alpine Aire? Has anyone had any experience bringing such food into Chile and Argentina?
