Hit up Vandever on the morning of the 4th before returning home for grilling and fireworks!
Blister on my left heal with below zero windchill made me turn around only after 500' up from the gap. I'll bag this peak on a warmer day. Update: July 20th 2010 - Nice scree climb, I stayed to the left along an edge for better rock.
