From point 7523

On August 24th 2013, I got to this point before I ran out of gas. I was about 2200 feet up from my truck but the day had turned hot and I just didn't have it to get the other 2200 feet which still lay ahead of me. I was with Greg J. and I indicated that he should go ahead and I'd wait for him while he "ran" to the summit. Greg is a guy who runs 100 mile races and he literally did run up and back. I believe it took him an hour and a half to go up, sign the register and head back to where I was. Amazing.
