Frostys Park Route

This map illustrates the full route from Old Stage Road to the summit of "Runs-Down-Fast Mountain." The full route is 9 miles round tripo with 1,900 feet of gain. Those with a good 4x4 will be able to reach higher parking areas, conditions permitting. Note that in wet conditions even reaching Frostys Park by 4x4 is a challenge and getting bogged down in giant mud puddles is a risk. In dry conditions (August or September, prior to snow fall) a decent driver in a high clearance 4x4 should be able to reach the upper Captain Jack's trailhead.
