Indian Creek meets Red Rocks

As a service to beginners, the leader in this photo is demonstrating what NOT to do: Pass up protection opportunities in the solid crack just below the stacked flakes, instead run it out and put a cam behind a 1,000-pound flake that you could pull off by hand. A Little Nightmare Music!

Larry, I don't remember who that is I took a photo of, back in 2007 but I probably harped on them about the same thing...this is one of the few routes in my backyard I have come to trust to do solo...nothing much to be scared of really....you don't have to touch that flake on the first pitch. If you can pull it out with one hand, please do.
