the pooch is licking something off the rug?
Well, dogs clean after their own puppies, and the young ice climber may have been sitting there. That is so cool.

Ciara was outside last winter without her boots on and caught one of her nails on a piece of ice. She broke her nail and needed some serious work on her paw. It took several months (quite a bit of it with a cone of shame around her neck) before she stopped licking it and reinfecting her paw. She's good now though.
