G4!

Gasherbrum 4 is one of the most incredible mountains in the world. If I'm not mistaken, there was a 28 year laps between the first and second ascents. This photos clearly shows why that was the case.
Thank you for sharing this heart-stopping photo with us dear friend. I certainly hope to see it on the front page for a week.
Best Regards,
Marc

Re: G4!

Thank you very much my dear friend Marc, for your kind words. The Gasherbrum meaning in Balti language is beautiful mountains. The G4 was was first climbed in the year 1958 by an Italian expedition led by Riccardo Cassin. First climbers were Walter Bonatti and Carlo Mauri. The second ascent of NW ridge in the year 1986 by Greg Child, Tim Marcartney Snape and Tom Hargis. This was the second ascent of Gasherbrum IV. The Gasherbrum-IV is considered one of the most toughest climb in the world.

Best regards, Afzal
